Background

The OSCE Ministerial Council is the Organization's central decision-making and governing body. The Foreign Ministers of the 56 participating States meet towards the end of the year to review and assess the OSCE's activities.

The Ministerial Council is hosted by the country which holds the annually rotating Chairmanship of the Organization.
