OSCE Mission to Montenegro and the Environmental Movement ‘Ozone’ to hold concluding panel discussion for School of Ecological Activism

PODGORICA, 22 June 2012 – “Think differently, act environmentally” – the role of parliamentary political parties in promoting environmental protection in Montenegro is the topic of the closing panel discussion under the OSCE-supported School of Ecological Activism taking place in Podgorica on Monday.

The panel discussion will be opened by the Acting Head of the OSCE Mission to Montenegro Waldemar Figaj, the Deputy Minister for the Environment Ivana Vojinović, the Director of the Environmental Protection Agency, Daliborka Pejović and the Director of the Environmental Movement Ozone, Aleksandar Perović.

The Ambassador of Croatia to Montenegro, Petar Turčinović, will present Croatia’s experience and examples of best practices in this area, while Snežana Grbović and Perović from Ozone will present the findings of their analysis of parliamentary political parties and environmental protection in Montenegro.

Certificates will also be awarded to the second generation of the School’s participants.

Journalists are invited to attend the panel discussion, which is scheduled to start at 10.00 on Monday, 25 June 2012, at the conference room of the “City Hotel”, Crnogorskih serdara b.b. in Podgorica.
