OSCE Mission and Australian Embassy donate police dogs to Montenegro to help fight environmental crime

PODGORICA, 18 June 2012 – The handover ceremony of two police dogs trained to detect explosives used for illegal fishing will take place in the Police Training Camp in Podgorica on Monday.

The dogs are a donation from the Government of Australia as part of the OSCE Mission’s project aimed at preventing illegal fishing with explosives.

Speaking at the ceremony will be the Head of the OSCE Mission to Montenegro, Ambassador Šarunas Adomavičius; the Australian Ambassador to Serbia, Helena Studdert; the Director of the Environmental Protection Agency, Daliborka Pejović, and the Head of the Border Police, Vesko Vukadinović.

Journalists are invited to attend the ceremony scheduled to start at 11.00 on Monday, 18 June 2012, at the Police Training Camp, Zlatica b.b., Podgorica.
