OSCE Mission, Montenegrin government to sign co-operation agreement on judicial reform

PODGORICA, 1 December 2011 –  Minister of Justice Duško Marković and the Head of the OSCE Mission to Montenegro, Ambassador Šarunas Adomavičius, will sign a co-operation agreement on judicial reform tomorrow.

The agreement, a Memorandum of Understanding, will provide for continuance of co-operation on the implementation of the Strategy and  Action Plan for the Reform of the Judiciary, the Strategy and Action Plan on Combating Organized Crime and Corruption, strengthening the framework of regional co-operation and strengthening the administration of criminal and civil justice and implementation of fair trials principles within the framework of the “Court Monitoring Project” implemented by the Mission.

Journalists are invited to cover the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, scheduled to start at 14.30 on Friday, 2 December 2011, in the President Hall of Hotel “Crna Gora”, Bul. Sv. Petra Cetinjskog 2, Podgorica
