Training in negotiating tactics

In this last in a series of three courses in negotiation tactics, two experts from the Norwegian Special Police Forces will train members of the Special Negotiation Team of the Anti-terrorist Unit of the Montenegrin Police.

The course will focus on negotiating in high-risk situations. The training will also address the importance of media involvement in the negotiation process and the spokesperson of the Montenegrin Police will be engaged in some of the training sessions.

After the completion of this 2009 training module, the Montenegrin Police will be considered self-sustainable. The Special Negotiation Team will hopefully become a member of the European and International Negotiation Network.
