PODGORICA, 14 November 2008 - Freedom of expression, journalistic investigation and the right to a fair trial are the focus of a seminar that starts in Przno on Monday.

Journalists and representatives of the judiciary will also discuss ways to improve co-operation and observe human rights during criminal proceedings

The two-day event is organized by the OSCE Mission to Montenegro, the Centre for Democracy and Human Rights, the AIRE Centre (London) and the Centre for Judicial Officials. The purpose of the seminar is to deepen professional understanding between journalists and representatives of the judiciary.

Journalists are invited to attend the opening of the seminar at 9.00, on Monday, 17 November, at Hotel Maestral, Przno.
