PODGORICA, 13 May 2013 – An OSCE supported report on how in 2012 the authorities implemented legislation that relates to their co-operation with the civil society will be presented at an event in Podgorica tomorrow.
The annual report 2012 is based on the results of monitoring of the implementation of the decrees governing co-operation between public authorities and civil society, and participation of citizens in developing public policy and putting it into practice. It was compiled as part of an OSCE-supported project aimed at strengthening the democracy framework in Montenegro, implemented in co-operation with the Centre for Development of Non-governmental Organizations.
Representatives of the civil society and 16 ministries and public bodies will take part in the event.
The Deputy Head of the OSCE Mission, Waldemar Figaj, Assistant Minister of Interior, Veselin Vukčević, and the Director of the Centre for Development of Non-Governmental Organizations, Ana Novaković, will address the event participants.
Journalists are invited to cover the event, which is scheduled to start at 10.30 on Tuesday, 14 May 2013, in Hotel Ramada, Podgorica.
