The OSCE Mission to Montenegro is the Organization's youngest field operation, established on 29 June 2006, soon after the Republic of Montenegro became independent and was admitted to the OSCE as its 56th participating State.

Police and media: partners, not opponents

In a series of workshops offered by the OSCE Mission to Montenegro, police officers and journalists from all across the country learn to break the ice at crime scenes and improve their co-operation with respect to serious and sensitive crimes.
