Awards ceremony for participants in youth video contest on combating gender-based violence

Some 25 young people from Drochia, Ribnita, Bacioi, Chisinau and Soroca will receive awards for their participation in a contest to produce a short video on gender issues and to promote respect for gender equality in interpersonal relationships.
The contest was part of a global campaign called “16 days of activism against gender-based violence”. It was organized by the NGO Gender Center in partnership with Moldova’s Ministry of Youth and Sports and Ministry of Education, along with support from the OSCE Mission to Moldova.
