Photography Exhibition: OSCE Mission to Moldova in pictures

The OSCE Mission to Moldova has supported a musical adaptation of  A. A. Milne’s Winnie-the-Pooh by the Chisinau-based Anton Chekhov Russian Drama Theatre in the village of Corjova on the left bank of the Dniestr/Nistru River. The event, which took place on 14 March 2012, is part of the Mission’s efforts to promote confidence-building measures and communication between both sides of the river.    (OSCE/Igor Schimbator)

Moldovan photographer Igor Schimbător captures the activities of the OSCE Mission to Moldova in his pictures. These range from the 5+2 talks and confidence building across Dniester/Nistru river to the observation of the Joint Peacekeeping Force exercises and an awareness-raising play on the issue of domestic violence.
