An OSCE-supported summer school held from 4 to 14 July 2013 brought together 80 young people from both banks of the Dniester/Nistru River in a beach town of Molovata Noua.

The event aimed to increase the involvement of young people in the work of the civil society and the protection of the Dniester/Nistru River. The programme included training and discussions on protection of the environment, confidence building, sustainable development and civil society issues. The summer school was also an opportunity for young people to meet and have fun. They also played a game of football against the Dniester/Nistru Boat Expedition team, which is another OSCE supported project.

The Summer School was organized together with the non-governmental organization ECO-Tiras and funded by the Finnish Embassy in Bucharest and the National Endowment for Democracy.
