OSCE Mission to Serbia marks International Day of Families by opening doors to staff family members
BELGRADE, 15 May 2017 – The OSCE Mission to Serbia is for the first time today marking International Family Day by opening its doors to the families of its staff.
This year’s International Day of Families focuses on family oriented policies that promote education and the overall well-being of family members.
“Welcoming families to our premises today is a new and learning experience. It also provides an opportunity to promote awareness of the safety of families and of the importance of education for all members of society, including members of minority communities,” said the Head of the OSCE Mission to Serbia, Ambassador Andrea Orizio.
Openness and transparency, as well as a culture of diversity, are values that the Mission supports and cherishes in its work. Currently, the Mission’s staff members come from 11 OSCE participating States.
