Some 450 young people with disabilities and their families from different communities participated in a two-day “Mini Olympics Games” supported by the OSCE Mission in Kosovo from 16 – 17 June 2012 in Vushtrri/Vučitrn. With this event the Mission aimed to promote the integration of people with disabilities and raise public awareness about their actual capabilities, thereby helping fight prejudice about what they can and cannot do, as well as increasing trust and co-operation between them and public safety providers.
