OSCE Mission in Kosovo

To fulfill its mandate and carry out activities, the OSCE Mission in Kosovo has a network of five regional centres and 33 municipal teams that cover Kosovo's 30 municipalities and three pilot municipal units.

Each regional centre covers a number of municipalities according to their political situation, level of development and nature of inter-ethnic relations. They are staffed with professionals in the areas of human rights and the rule of law, democracy- and institution-building, and election operations.

They provide guidance and support to the municipal teams that maintain direct and daily contact with municipal officials, helping them uphold principles of human rights and good governance.

The centres are located in the following towns and cities:

1. RC Gjilan / Gnjilane
2. RC Mitrovicë / Mitrovica
3. RC Pejë / Pec
4. RC Prishtinë / Pristina
5. RC Prizren / Prizren
