Netherlands' Robert Bosch new Head of OSCE Presence in Albania
VIENNA, 16 October 2007 - Robert Bosch from the Netherlands has been appointed the new Head of the OSCE Presence in Albania. He will take office on 25 October.
The appointment to Albania comes after serving two years as Deputy Permanent Representative of the Dutch delegation to the OSCE. Prior to this, Bosch held a number of posts in embassies of the Netherlands in Portugal, Luxemburg and Vienna. He was also a Special Representative of the Netherlands to the UN World Conference on Disaster Reduction and a Special Advisor for the Dutch EU Presidency.
Bosch succeeds Pavel Vacek of the Czech Republic, who served as Head of the OSCE Presence in Albania from 2004 to 2007. The OSCE Presence in Albania was established by the OSCE Permanent Council on 27 March 1997.
