VIENNA, 8 June 2007 - On the occasion of the Extraordinary Conference of the States Parties to the CFE Treaty, Anatoly Antonov, Head of the Russian Delegation to the Conference, will answer questions from journalists on Monday.

The press conference will be held on Monday, 11 June, at 16:30, in the Neuer Saal of the Hofburg Congress Centre (2nd floor). There will be simultaneous interpretation in the OSCE six official languages.

On 28 May 2007, the Russian Federation officially requested the Depository of the Treaty on Conventional Armed Forces in Europe (CFE Treaty), the Government of the Netherlands, to convene an Extraordinary Conference in Vienna on 12-15 June 2007.

Five members of the Russian Delegation to the Conference will participate in the press conference: Head of the Delegation Anatoly Antonov; Deputy Heads of the Delegation Lieutenant-General Evgeny Buzhinskiy and Mikhail Ulyanov; and Members of the Delegation Anton Mazur and Oleg Krivov.
