OSCE media freedom representative to meet Serbian government, media NGOs in Belgrade on 18-19 September
VIENNA, 14 September 2012 - The OSCE Representative on Freedom of the Media, Dunja Mijatović, will pay her first official visit to Belgrade on 18 and 19 September to meet top government officials, media policymakers, NGO representatives and journalists.
Mijatović will meet Prime Minister Ivica Dačić, Foreign Minister Ivan Mrkić, Vice Prime Minister and Minister for Telecommunications Rasim Ljajić, Minister of Culture and Information Bratislav Petković, Justice Minister Nikola Selaković, Speaker of Parliament Nebojša Stefanović, Head of the Broadcasting Agency’s Council Bishop of Jegar, Porfirije (Perić), and the Director General of the Public Radio and Television Aleksandar Tijanić.
The Representative will also have talks with journalists as well as members of journalists’ associations and media NGOs.
