When: 17 June 2013 - 18 June 2013
Where: Vienna
Organized by: OSCE
The OSCE Security Days 2013 conference will gather prominent practitioners, experts in the field from academia, think tanks, civil society, and the media. The event is an opportunity to look at both current and future challenges to security. This will offer a chance to share new thinking and innovative solutions.
The theme of this year’s conference is the role of the OSCE in the 21st century, both analysing current security needs and exploring new tools to promote dialogue and co-operation. Security Days 2013 will also include a Night Owl Session, an event targeted especially at a young audience in order to further stimulate the discussion with additional insights.
The conference will take place at the Hofburg Congress Centre. The registration form is available here. As active participation is welcomed and encouraged, comments and questions can be sent prior to and during the event via Twitter, @OSCE, using the hashtag #secdays. The event will also be streamed live for those who cannot attend.
