The Human Dimension Seminar will provide a platform for the exchange of views among different stakeholders on key aspects of the rule of law framework for combating trafficking in human beings. The Seminar will serve as an opportunity to discuss the implementation of relevant OSCE commitments on the protection and assistance to trafficked persons and prevention of trafficking in human beings. The OSCE participating States and other stakeholders will be able to share best practices and challenges in the area of anti-trafficking, as well as strategies for the better enforcement and implementation of OSCE commitments on the national level, including the 2003 OSCE Action Plan to Combat Trafficking in Human Beings and the most recent Ministerial Declaration on Combating All Forms of Human Trafficking.
Recommendations may be addressed to participating States, the OSCE at large, OSCE institutions, including the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights, OSCE field operations, other intergovernmental organizations, as well as civil society actors in OSCE participating States.
Registration: Online registration for all participants is available at http://meetings.odihr.pl. Participants wishing to attend are requested to register by Wednesday, 9 May 2012. Registered participants will be able to collect their badges at the Seminar venue as of Monday, 14 May 2012, from 08:00. Registration during the Seminar will also be available on the spot.
