The Concluding Meeting of the 19th OSCE Economic and Environmental Forum on the "Promotion of common actions and co-operation in the OSCE area in the fields of development of sustainable energy and transport", will take place in Prague, on 14 -16 September 2011.

The Economic and Environmental Forum is the main and the highest level annual meeting within the economic and environmental dimension of the OSCE. Its objective is to give political stimulus to the dialogue on economic and environmental issues linked to security, as well as to contribute to the elaboration of specific recommendations and follow-up activities to address these challenges. The Forum meetings bring together every year more than 350 high level participants representing governments, civil society, business community and other international organizations, to engage in dialogue and consultations on how to address and identify practical solutions for common economic and environmental concerns.

The Concluding Meeting in Prague builds upon the results of the deliberations of its 2 Preparatory Meetings (Vienna, 7-8 February 2011 and Druskininkai, Lithuania, 4-5 April 2011).
