The aim of the seminar is to raise awareness of the main challenges faced by female labour migrants, highlight some of the gender gaps in migration policies and provide possible solutions.
The event is aimed mainly at mid-level government officials, policy makers, heads of department and focal points from the Ministries of Interior, Labour, Justice, Social & Family Affairs (Gender) and any other relevant ministries dealing with labour migration policy analysis, development, review and implementation.
It is also meant for experts/advisors to parliamentary committees working with (labour) migration legislation as well as at representatives of labour unions, employers' organizations and migrant associations, and relevant NGOs dealing with labour migrants and application of policy. The target countries are the Nordic, Baltic and Western CIS countries.
