Organized by: OCEEA in co-operation with the OSCE Centre in Ashgabat and the Government of Turkmenistan and with the support of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and the International Rail Transport Committee (CIT)

The main objective was to explore practical means and tools to facilitate cross-border railway operations in Central Asia, and to elaborate recommendations for further improvement. The event also provided guidance for further activities of the OSCE in the field of transport.
