Activities
Hazardous waste transport
Following the Ministerial Decision No. 11/06 (Madrid, 2006) and its reference to assist participating States in enhancing the enforcement of national legislation related to the illegal transport of hazardous waste, the Office of the Co-ordinator of OSCE Economic and Environmental Activities (OCEEA) has initiated consultations with the Basel Convention Secretariat and other OSCE units regarding increased co-operation on the issue of hazardous waste. OCEEA is currently developing a project on training for enforcement agencies to prevent the illegal traffic of hazardous waste in Ukraine.
