CHISINAU, 18 January 2013 – OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Leonid Kozhara, will visit Moldova from 21 to 22 January.
On Monday the Minister will meet with Moldova’s President Nicolae Timofti, Prime Minister Vlad Filat, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Eugen Carpov, Minister for Foreign Affairs and European Integration Iurie Leanca and Speaker of Parliament Marian Lupu as well as bilateral ambassadors to the country and the staff of the OSCE Mission to Moldova.
On Tuesday, the Chairperson will travel to Tiraspol to meet with Transdniestrian leader Yevgeniy Shevchuk and Transdniestrian chief negotiator Nina Shtanski.
Media representatives are invited to a press briefing with OSCE Chair-in-Office Leonid Kozhara and Moldova’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Iurie Leanca at 10:00 on Monday, 21 January at 31 August 1989 street, 80, Chisinau, and to a press opportunity with Minister Kozhara in Tiraspol, after the meeting with Transdniestrian leader Shevchuk and chief negotiator Shtanski on Tuesday, 22 January, at approximately 11:55, location to be confirmed.
