Media accreditation for Dublin OSCE Ministerial Council to end on Friday

DUBLIN, 12 November 2012 – Media accreditation to cover the 19th OSCE Ministerial Council taking place on 6 and 7 December in Dublin, will end on Friday, 16 November 2012.

The Ministerial Council is the central decision-making and governing body of the OSCE. The meeting, held annually, provides the foreign ministers of the 56 OSCE participating States an opportunity to review and assess the Organization's activities during the past year and offer national viewpoints on security matters.

Journalists are invited to cover the event, which will be held the Royal Dublin Society (RDS) Simmonscourt Complex, located at Simmonscourt Road, Dublin 4.

The deadline for media registration to cover the Ministerial Council is close of business Friday, 16 November 2012. Accreditation will take place via a dedicated online registration system at:

Please note that journalists accredited to OSCE locations still need special accreditation for the Ministerial Council.

Journalists who need a visa to travel to Dublin are strongly encouraged to submit their applications as soon as possible in order to ensure the timely processing of visas.
