CHISINAU, 18 September 2012 - The Representative of the Irish Chair-in-Office of the OSCE, Minister for European Affairs Lucinda Creighton, will visit Moldova from 19 to 21 September to discuss the OSCE’s engagement with the country.
On Thursday Creighton will meet with Moldova’s President Nicolae Timofti, Prime Minister Vlad Filat, Deputy Prime Minister for Reintegration Eugene Carpov and Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Iurie Leanca, as well as EU Ambassadors to the country and the staff of the OSCE Mission to Moldova.
On the same day, Creighton will travel to Tiraspol to meet with Transdniestrian chief negotiator Nina Shtanski.
Media representatives are invited to a press briefing with OSCE Chair-in-Office Representative Lucinda Creighton and Moldova’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Iurie Leanca on Thursday, 20 September at 10.30 at 31 August 1989 street, 80, Chisinau, and to a press opportunity with Minister Creighton in Tiraspol, after the meeting with Transdniestrian chief negotiator Nina Shtanski on Thursday, 20 September, at approximately 17.30 at the Tiraspol Office of the OSCE Mission to Moldova, 1 Furmanov Street.
