VIENNA, 3 May 2006 - The Co-Chairs of the UN High Level Group for the Alliance of Civilizations, State Minister of Turkey Professor Mehmet Aydin and Professor Federico Mayor of Spain, will discuss the Alliance and its future in speeches tomorrow to the Permanent Council, the OSCE's main regular decision-making body.

The Co-chairs will highlight issues including education, media, youth, immigration and the OSCE's role in furthering the Alliance's goals.

Media representatives are invited to hear the speeches, set to start at 11 a.m. on May 4 in the Neuer Saal, Hofburg Congress Centre. A press conference will follow at 12:30 in room 210.

For admittance to the Hofburg Congress Centre, please present your OSCE media badge or a valid recognized press card to the security desk in the main entrance from Heldenplatz. Limited parking space is available, please request a permit.
