Five Kyrgyz police officers participate at OSCE-supported internship programme in Lithuania

Five officers of the Main Department on combatting organized crime will attend a one week internship programme at the Lithuanian Criminal Police Bureau.
An intensive programme will include theoretical and practical sessions, analysis of operative information and Serious Organized Crime Threats Assessment (SOCTA) techniques, proactive investigation techniques and agent handling, coordination of law enforcement agencies and joint investigations.
Knowledge and skills acquired by officers during the internship will enhance the overall capacity of Kyrgyz Ministry of Interior on combatting organized crime; in particular, will contribute to effective implementation of newly developed Concept of the Kyrgyz Republic on combatting organized crime for 2015-2020.
The OSCE Centre in Bishkek is co-operating with the Lithuanian Bureau of Criminal Police under an OSCE Project on combatting organized crime and serious crimes.
