A five-day study tour on migration management for a group of experts from Kazakhstan started on 22 October 2012 in Minsk. The visit is co-organized by the OSCE Centre in Astana and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Office in Astana.

Lecturers from the Interior Ministry’s Academy in Karaganda, government and civil society representatives will exchange views and experience with their counterparts in Belarus on migration governance, international migration law, gender-sensitive migration policies, education and capacity-building methods. The agenda includes a number of working sessions at the Academy of the Interior Ministry of Belarus and the IOM office in Minsk as well as meetings with officials and non-governmental organizations working in this field.

The study tour is part of the OSCE Centre's activities to promote international labour migration management practices in Kazakhstan.
