This seminar for judges is part of a series of 2014 events aimed at raising awareness of regional judges in direct application of international human rights standards and human rights-based approach in justice delivering.
The event will be led by national experts, who will share their experience in implementation of international instruments against torture and ill-treatment, as well as provide an overview of OSCE commitments in a broader context of international human rights law.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about international human rights protection mechanisms, regulation of limitations and derogations from the core human rights norms, as well as objectives and practices of the UN treaty bodies with regards to protection of fair trial standards.
