This seminar will provide an overview of some of the most pressing contemporary challenges in countering transnational organized crime from experienced international experts.
Seminar topics will include, among others, definition and types of transnational organized crime, and subject and spheres of criminal activities.
It will also serve to enhance the capacity of Kazakhstan’s law enforcement bodies by improving their ability to counter transnational organized crime tactics and strategies, facilitate controlled border crossings, and familiarize Kazakhstan’s customs officials with international practices in countering transnational organized as it is related to customs.
The event is part of Centre’s activities in building capacity of Kazakhstan's law enforcement agencies to counter transnational organized crime.
