The OSCE Centre facilitated the participation of three experts from the Kazakhstan Water Partnership Public Foundation at a meeting of the Zhaiyk-Caspian Basin Council to be held on 13 August in Aktau. The meeting will gather members of the basin councils from four regions of western Kazakhstan, government officials and representatives of the business community and civil society who will discuss issues related to rational water use in the region, including projects aimed at increasing the water supply and decreasing water consumption at industrial enterprises.
