This conference will bring together political-party leaders, government officials, experts and representatives of civil society from the United States, Europe and Central Asia to discuss ways to enhance the country’s political-party system. The aim of the event is to increase public awareness of the benefits of participatory democracy. The conference will also promote the implementation of OSCE principles and commitments with respect to institutionalizing a multiparty system and creating an environment in which parties can most effectively perform their essential democratic functions.
