OSCE Presence in Albania

Ambassador Florian Raunig of Austria will assume his duties as the Head of the OSCE Presence in Albania on 1 October 2013.

Ambassador Raunig was born in 1967 in Basel, Switzerland. He studied political science, philosophy and law and graduated from the University of Vienna. He speaks Albanian, English, French and Italian, and is married with two daughters. He is a career diplomat and served previously as Austrian Ambassador to Albania and to Montenegro.

Until October 2013, the Acting Head of Presence will be Robert Wilton.
