The OSCE Presence in Albania provides assistance to Albanian authorities and civil society on promoting democratization, rule of law, human rights and on consolidating democratic institutions in conformity with OSCE principles, standards and commitments.

As a precaution against fraud, each voter's finger was marked with ink during Albania's 2009 parliamentary elections, Elbasan, 28 June 2009.
